BLOWING POINT, Anguilla – It was a violent night Monday on the tiny Caribbean island of Anguilla.
In the district of Blowing Point, seven persons were shot but none fatally.
One of the shooting victims is currently in intensive care with a bullet in his head and fighting for his life. Efforts are being made to stabilize him before he is flown off island for further medical care.
Six of the seven victims received bullet wounds to their hands and feet.
The persons involved in this shooting are from the districts of Blowing Point and South Hill. It is also believed that the shooting is gang related.
One of the victims had only returned to the island on Monday from the United Kingdom.
